I can't reply to posts

Need some post count

I changed my email, and also picked a new name. First post went through fine onto tech talk, now my posts aren't showing up. Apparently they need moderator approval? Maybe mods ran into a good stash this weekend and haven't been online in a bit?

how do I post? I wanna buy stuff!

If I remember correctly, when I had a new account I would get that error when quoting people. My supposition is that the quote technically links to the previous comment.

Permissions for new accounts get granted gradually as post count goes up. No idea what the landmarks are though

Tried to say this on mobile (tapatalk) but every time I tried to post a replay it gave the "new posts are limited by urls and forbidden words" error, wasn't quoting anybody or sending alink or anything

Yup just waiting on my reply to be "moderated"

Posting again for hope of visibility- my main account Crock has lost all privileges. Member since 2007- I changed my password recently as recommended after security breaches on older accounts, and now I can't post, reply, or DM.

I'm having similar issues to what is described in this thread. I updated my password to my account: slim (somehow also merged with mr_slim) and have been promptly locked out of posting and PM permissions. I'd like gain access back.
