These are the types I like (as far as covers)....Challenge is most songs worth covering are so good that the cover will never be as good as the original. That's why they've got to be changed up. Even if it's subtly different...Quote:

Couldn't find this anywheres on the innertubes so I posted it up to youtube. I had this version on a variety cd I made for road trips. My kids grew up on it. It wasn't till last year that my kids discovered it was a cover. They think it is so weird to hear McCartney doing the original (doh!)

I think a lotta folks are wholly unaware that Jay-Z's ripper "99 Problems" is actually a cover of an Ice-T joint.
I would say that I am a bigger fan of Ice, but Rick Rubin's block rocking beat on Hova's version is insane.
