Motherfuck, I remember him telling that story now but none of the details. I can't find the scene on youtube, what was the gist of it again?

I think it was the second to last episode of season 3 (Half Measures) or maybe the last episode of the season (Full Measures) - Mike pays a visit to Hank at home and tells him about how he once let a wife beater go free....I wont spoil it for you, these last 2 eps of the season together are my favourite ones of BB so far - definitely worth rewatching both of them back to back
im guessing mike shows jesse how to kill people and not care about it - jesse problem solved, walt still cooking meth for gus.
"AMC announced today that Breaking Bad, the Emmy Award-winning and critically lauded drama series from acclaimed writer-producer-director Vince Gilligan has been renewed for a 16 episode order that will conclude the series. Production on all episodes of the final order will commence in early 2012. The roll-out of the episodes and premiere date schedule has yet to be determined by the network. The announcement was made by Charlie Collier, president of AMC."
Sweet that ought to draw out the nothing fucking happening for a few more weeks. :rolleyes2 :cussing::cussing:
Walt is an egotistical douche and will be replaced by Jesse as the chef.
as much as nothing seems to be happening except buildup i am enjoying the show just as much for the aesthetics. the camera work is incredible. i wish all shows (and movies) could be as interesting.
Alright, now we're making some progress... took Hank long enough.
awesome episode.
Yeah, awesome. The whole series is extraordinarily well written. Walt is self destructing because his brainchild was stolen from him by his friend, who used it to become fabulously wealthy, while brilliant Walt was relegated to obscurity. So all of his bad behavior is driven by him wanting to get the fortune he lost, and wanting no one else to get the credit for the fruit of his genius.
TGR,the best TV guide. I didnt know season 4 was going to start during the summer. Time to visit pirate take-out
i would say hank is perking right up! should make things interesting going forward.
I'm thinking that one or both of those DEA agents are involved with Gustavo's business.
I am really looking forward to Walt getting everything that he deserves. I also hope that skylar goes down hard. I seriously hate her character.
The only character I really care about is Jesse. I hope that somehow he comes out of this o.k.
One of the things I find intriguing about this show is that I can't remember another, where the main character is someone to be disgusted by. I don't see how you could have any sympathy or empathy for the man. He is truly an immoral scumbag full of personal defects.
You are one interesting contradiction, DBS.
How is Walt that much different from Jesse?
Is Jesse's shooting an (for the most part) innocent in the face excuseable simply because mean old Walter told him to? Jesse is just a poor innocent twig being swept down the mean old stream of life, isn't he? He is just a poor victim. Remind you of somebody?
I just feel that if it wasn't for Walt's manipulative involvement in his life, and for his use of meth that he would be a good person.
Walt on the other hand, doesn't use drugs, and has nobody manipulating him. He is just a piece of shit through and through.
I guess you guys are right. For whatever reason I have sympathy for Jesse, but none for Walt.
I think they should come up with a new charactor:El Jer.
El Jer would be some sociopathic loner who rolls into town, cuts everybody's head off and replaces the whole blue meth cartel with a Taliban opium cartel.
Oddly enough, Sasquatch-looking snowboarders would be totally turned off by El Jer.
Seriously tho - I like everybody. I'd hate to see anybody get whacked. Except maybe Walt's son.
Jesse would have been busted by the DEA if he hadn't got involved with Walt, after all he was using heavily, cooking, and his product was known by the DEA to be associated with his knickname, which he had on his license plate.
Walt's influence has wizened him, and has caused him to lose the romantic view he had of his life as a meth cook. My guess is that Walt will find the bottom of his fall into darkness, but Jesse will somehow get out of the business.
Wow, that was intense! I think more happened in that episode than the previous 6 episodes. Can't wait for next week.....
They continue to flesh out characters, and the plot. I don't get the "nothing has been happening" comments, I think every episode is intellectually gripping, and they use the graphic violence as punctuation rather than every letter in the script. It's masterful really.
Ep 8 was fantastic. Why Breaking Bad hasn´t been bought by one of the major networks in Norway is beyond me.
A lot of people equate intense action with "happening". Many of the more "boring" episodes turn out to have a whole lot going on in retrospect.
Hank rolling up in broad daylight in the parking lot of Los Pollos to GPS Gustavo's car? Really?
Arild - I would pay to watch BB dubbed in Norsk. That'd be as good as German-speaking Conquistadors floating aimlessly down the Amazon.
I just shot coffee out of my nose! I´d pay for that, too. Funny thing is, I could picture the actors responsible for the voice overs right away. Sad to say, no shows except those for children are dubbed over here.
Norwegian Walt (Trond Viggo Torgersen):

I have more of these in stock.
great episode. cool to see manny from scarface after all these years.
^^^^^
I thought that guy looked familiar!
Wow.
I agree, Breaking Bad is a great show! It ranks right up there with The Wire for a good TV series.
Anybody else reading Sepinwall's Breaking Bad recaps here?
He has some good takes and always sees stuff I miss.
Last episode was a great one. During Gus and his partners "interview" with the Mexican gangsta you could feel the sense of menace and fear. I was totally absorbed. The writing is great but so is the acting.
the name was way too long to repeat but in the interview gus said he'd establised a chemistry scolarship named after maximillian somebody "a dear friend who died too young." I thought the guy in the wheelchair had a different name, and I thought he was frank in scarface "I not kill you manie shoot dis pis of chet"
wheelchair guy = hector = tio (uncle) <> frank in scarface

s.04 ep.08 = badass
hank having walt plant the gps was great....you could feel walt squirming. scene by the pool played out how i figured it would and is an important leason to mafiosas in the making....kill them all and don't deal with them in the future.
What I don't get is WTF were Gus's prints doing at Gail's place?
maybe Gus was over there blowing him?
