FWIW I skied the 2018 Anima in the 188 at Stevens Pass on a 10" morning a few years back. Coming from the Atris 189 and Volkl One 186 as my regular soft-snow skis here in CO, the Anima was noticeably stouter in the tail and could definitely ski into the heavier PNW and cut-up areas well. The tip wasn't super stiff but stronger than the Atris. I really liked it, and wouldn't say that it felt like it skied particularly long, but probably a tad short maybe. 6' 170lbs
