I'm no Yanks fan for sure but this bottom half of the 9th has been highly entertaining. WS preview?

And the Yankees in 18
I passed out somewhere in the 14th
Saw an article today talking 'what if' on the subject of what regular season ties might look like. Like after 12 or 13 innings, call it done. You know, I consider myself kind of a purist, but I can't say I would be all that against it. Yeah yeah, kissing your sister and whatnot, but fuck, there is 162 games. If you are getting screwed at the end because of a tie, well, tough. I mean, how many 13+ inning games are there/year? Nevermind, I don't really care how many cuz it's not much. Plate a damn run against the 5th reliever or suck it.
Yankees on a roll
I thought for sure that there was no way in hell that the Yanks would be able to win a game after playing till 2:15am then getting on the road to Cincinnati to play the Reds later that evening.
Vegas cleaned up on that one.
I mean, they're still the Reds

I agree with the article. This epic games are pretty rare. No rules changes are needed.Quote:
But the facts don't back that up — which is just one reason, and only the most superficial of them, why MLB's latest idea to speed up the game is a misguided one. In 2016, there were 185 extra-inning games out of a total of 2,428 games played, or 7.6 percent. Of those 185, nearly two-thirds (122) ended in 10 or 11 innings, and just eight (4.3 percent) lasted 15 innings or longer.
They can fuck up a bullpen pretty good for a while.
I think the rule change for auto IBB's is stupid especially using speeding up game time as the reason. But if they made a reasonable rule change for tie's after a certain inning limit, I wouldn't be all that upset.
Plate a damn run!
But yeah. Managers earning their keep...or their walking papers.
Matt Harvey goes and gets BLOTTO on the golf course, misses curfew, does it again the next morning....
Calls in sick.
i want this guy on my squad.
Well tonight's Brockmire was so damned funny I shed tears. Way more entertaining than the end to my Tribe game that's for sure.
Seriously, if you've ever wondered what it's like for someone to tell Joe Buck to his face that he's late because he was fingerbanging his dead mom, well wonder no more.
Chris Sale is good at baseball
A rare good free agent signing by the Sox.
Twins! Mid May and relevant for a change. Santana is money. Berrios up again and looked great today. Finally some starting pitching. Sano is a stud. Let's go.
And then tanaka shits in the punch bowl.
Mrs landers hosting a bunch of clients at the Indians game tonight. Told her not to ever refer to it by anything other than "The Jake". I also have money on carrasco's wins total this year (over 13) so let's go tribe
Yankees win, Betences strikes out side in 9th. Pretty impressive. 100 mph fastballs followed by low 80s curves and sliders.
Sux on the horizon. Suck it chowds.
Huge strike zone
He's Kevin Mass or Shane Spencer. No worse than that though
Aaron Judge is white?
