To be fair, Dam is still just a bit above meh IMHO. But Backcountry has been down right disappointing the few times I've been.

Agree about the Dam. Beer is not bad. Food is decent for Sysco. I like the patio in the summer. Reasonably priced.
Biggest complaint I have is that place is too busy and loud during peak times
Dam Brewery? Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded.
I think Montanaskier mentioned the two I thought of. Northside in Avon and Slope and Hatch in Glenwood.
We found S&H last summer. Word must have spread because we went back a few weeks ago, and line was out the door the entire time we were there, with one poor woman taking orders, and working front of house alone.
Edit - wrong thread.
Post in the right thread, JONG!
Golden Burro @ 7am wasn’t too bad.
Dillon/Silverthorne:
Arapahoe Café in Dillon......great food, nightly specials in the pub downstairs.
Dillon Dam.....good food and the beer is decent enough, imo.
JJ's Cuisine.....I like their Drunken Noodles....aka the Spicy Papaya menu.
Sunshine Café....great breakfast....busy on the weekends.
Sauce on the Blue....heard good things, a little spendy...haven't been yet.
Jersey Boys in Dillon for pizza.
La Perla in Silverthorne for authentic tacos...skip Chipotle.
Frisco:
Hacienda Real for solid Mex....I probably eat here every other week.
If you like Pho, Pho Bay II is pretty good. These people are opening up a new Pho restaurant in Breck.
Outer Range Brewing....absolutely delicious IPAs...my favorite brewery in the county.
Backcountry Brewery just got bought by Broken Compass (Breck)....this is excellent news. Broken Compass has great brews.
Kemosabe is the 2nd best sushi in the county behind Mountain Flying Fish (which is top notch) in Breck.
Vinny's is top notch for upscale casual. He uses a lot of locally-sourced and organic ingredients. Heard he is also buying The Blue Spruce.
Also heard good things about Tavern West, but I haven't been yet. Same owner as the former Tuscato's restaurant.
In-N-Out is coming to Colorado, maybe in a couple of years we'll be able to add it to this thread.
meh, much hype about nothing. Just like Crispy Creme crappy donuts years ago, In-Out mediocre burgers have an irrational cultish following. I'll skip the line and find somewhere better to go, like McDonalds. (and the clown food is shit too)
Blasphemy! They make a damn good burger, and those shakes are perfect.
If they're building the distribution center, it'll be a lot more than one store. Think 50.
First will be in CO Springs.
Mentioned above but we hit Blue Moon a couple of times in Silverthorne/Dillon last week before A-Basin and a road trip. Good bagels, serviceable coffee... great pastries. Went to Dam Brewery too. Didn't have the beer (I was on, like, real drugs man) but you gotta try the meatloaf.

Best food we had that week was at Smugglers Brew Pub in Telluride. House sausage, some kinda sauce-infused tater tots, Korean BBQ ribs, great burgers and really, really good fries. Skipped lunch for powder that day too... worth it. Ghost Town Grocer had the best coffee, donuts at Baked Inn Telluride were worth waking up for.
The Micky D's in Idaho Springs has computerized ordering now. And somehow it has made the whole fast food experience even slower. Yeah technology.
I was there because,,,,, offspring.
But did you understand the clown mouth? Or as bad as a human speaking thru it?
Angry James Brewery is open in Silverthorne. Mountain Lion will serve limited menu of BBQ and stuff out of a small side space too. Worth stopping in while waiting for the highway to open.
