Every bitcoiner has experienced years of ridicule and insults for believing in bitcoin. I am not 100% against real estate, but it's turned into a gigantic psyop. I feel super bad for some of my friends who paid $600 a square foot in 2022 with 6% mortgages because they were brainwashed into thinking that meant they were "successful."

It's also funny that people think they truly "own" their houses. Try not paying property taxes and you'll find out who really owns your house.

SF, I agree that the RE market is overvalued but personally I do like having a roof over my head.

Haven't owned my house for 30 years, I bought it in 2006 and paid it off in 2021. :tongue: And you have to live somewhere, in the time I have owned my dump I would have paid $ 300K in rent, easy.
