Just bad skiing everywhere. Total letdown.
^^^heh. That looks familiar. Good to see. Conditions are pretty.....firm on the front range. Still finding some fun turns in the morning before a little afternoon golf at least: Attachment 162860
There's at least 2 inches of wet snow in Avon right now. Fat flakes falling
The Beav showing 4". More than was forecast, take all we can get!
BSB is up to 5", hope I did not blow it by waiting a week…. Feeling like a powder locust!
10" at Loveland. Solid work by team butthurt, keep up the anti-jinx y'all.
Hurt is over, for now. Bonafide Powder Day at the i70 resorts. Snow looks to be pretty light so beware of rough spots under but some places should ski much deeper. Thanks to the low forecast crowds should be pretty low. Not enough for the Denver folk to react since most if not all snow fell overnight late.
Finally a snow day that isn't a weekend or a holiday! Is it weird that I'm glad when A-basin reports the least of everyone so that it'll be less crowded?

I know all of us working today are bummed we're missing out on the new snow. However, Breck skied so well on Saturday, especially in Horseshoe and Six Senses. Here is a run from Six Senses, before it had seen many tracks.
Abasin was very good this morning for the pre-opening race. Made the 30 min longer race commute worth it. Sooo good. Sad to go to work :(
Somewhat dust on crust, but still very good. 6-12" across the board.
NWS thinks it's gonna get crazy warm next week but that the persistent ridge might finally push east and open the door to the pacific again.
Long range models still not showing any change into Feb. Valley temps next week in the 50s in spots.
Some talk of a southern low bringing moisture north late next week but with well above average temps, the snow line would be quite high.
Counter butthurt:
