Vail and beav snows stakes showing a couple inches fresh ?
Yeah snowed lightly up here today. Over running event as Vail Pass was warmer and drier than the W side of the pass
Why is it that it's usually colder at The Beav than at Vail? (on any given similar aspect). I was really happy the coverage this past sunday at the Beav. Hill is in great shape. Won't be back until Jan. 1st. though. :(Quote:

Light showers today at Snowmass, then it got cold around 2 and the snow got more intense. Still kinda bushy on the Burn but the snow is fantastic.
Got a little rain/sleet in vail village around 4. Hopefully it was just way down low.
Vail and EV are skiing pretty damn good right now.
