This bird has been frequenting our hummingbird feeder the past 2 days. This is the first time I’ve seen a non- hummingbird feeding out of it.

Yeah, I think orcas are smarter than humans. They have been around for a lot longer than us, have relatively bigger and more wrinkly brains, they have dialects of language, pass along knowledge generationally, and lots of other stuff.Quote:

Tarantula Hawks are probably one of the most docile stinging insects out there. You’d have to really piss them off in a bad way to provoke a sting.

Having such power to inflict pain and being cool about it is the most terrifying thing ever.
This snappy fucker showed up in the yard last night. May have been a mommy looking to lay eggs. We annoyed it enough that it eventually moved on.
