Sounds like you want the 189.
Edit: adrenalated is like 5'9" and 140# and skis the 184 Wren (actually, the old 186), so you should be fine on the 189.

5'9" and 140#? I think we are being a little generous on that weight... ;)
As for length questions, the only thing to keep in mind is that the Wren 108 189 has a noticeably longer turn radius than the 184. It does scale up accordingly, but it is noticeable. I
I think for Jdadour and with what you posted I would tell you to go 189, as well. FWIW, when I am on wrens I ski the 184 108 most of the time at 5'10" and 190lbs, but I also have a much stiffer layup in my pair than stock so I would tend to still push you towards 189 if not going custom.
Hey everyone...it is September. Winter is on the way!
Awesome thanks for the feedback PowTron! Definitely going with the 189s, sounds like a great fit for me. Stoked to get my first pair of ON3Ps! Now just need some snow.
In the future if I were to do a custom build of the Wren 108, aside from changing the stiffness, how does the wood veneer (which looks absolutely gorgeous) change the feel, weight, and/or stiffness of the ski?
Wanted: one used pair of extra stiff 108 Wren 184's. Just in case anyone is holding :)
193 billygoat?
Was there any possibility of a longer/wider wren prototype? I remember some chatter about a design like that, a few months ago.
Maybe these??

Originally, ON3P didn't account for the change in stiffness by adding woodgrain, which is how my 12.13 BGs ended up extra-stiff. But when I had them make me a back-up pair of woodgrain 191 BGs in 2014 or 2015, the first pair they made turned out too soft because they accounted for the added stiffness of the woodgrain. Fortunately, ON3P is awesome and keeps the details of every ski they ever built on file—they looked up the specs of my first pair by my email addy and made me a pair just like them (but stiffer in the tail).
So basically, they started accounting for the stiffness added by the woodgrain but they can definitely make them stiffer if you prefer. I think the weight is the same, but I personally think they ski a little more damp than the std topsheet.
In my personal opinion, if you're going to pay retail, the woodgrain is a great option.

Awesome. Time to sell some stuff and save.
When will the 2017/2018 thread be up and running?
I know this is TGR and all, but I'm bummed the 174 BG was axed. Smaller men and women folk love them some BG, too!
Last fall at the Bozone ski swap I scored a set of 166 BG un-drilled for my lil lady!
XavierD has mentioned this... y'all know that the SuperGoat would be a lil overkill for just aboot every wannabe around here, probably even the clydes? Still intriguing...
I'm a mere mortal so I doubt that I'd be able to handle zee power of zee SuperGoat but I can think of a skier or two on here who might be able to handle zee power. But alas I bought some used 191 Billy Goats so unless the price point of the SuperGoat's is too good to be true I won't be able to test myself against zee ultimate super ski.
