I can say that while stfu ignores that Denver has been investing in and bringing online more commuter lines than any large city in recent memory, he is right that they fucked up by not including any express tracks. Those trains would see a lot more ridership if the troops were faster. Still, 20 years from now, the train will still take the same amount of time and driving will take twice as long. But a train through the mountains? I don't see it happening nor do I think it's a great solution.
