I would've said a Kawasaki Ninja H2-R

911R. So fucking nice.
Why do people buy white sunglasses?

the presser color combo is beautiful but this looks like a GT3 that was molested at a rave.
answer to Q: the same reason people go with white seat belts against yellow calipers, black wheels and fluorescent green stripes.
Yellow calipers are stock, which means they are ceramic.
Mine would be paint to sample Geyser Gray, with no stripe.
like dis? noted on the calipers, same as the Turbo S distinction.

Watched this a few times last night. Un-fing-real how much talent goes into this (manufacturer and driver).
getting loose on the top end of 6th gear

RUFs are next level. The new ones are amazing.

Geyser is lighter. Thats graphite I think. Both are 50th anniversary colors.

As a young college kid what would you rather have:
1.Attachment 183874Fiat 124 Spider
2.Attachment 183875Lotus Elise
Male or female kid?
edit: actually it doesn't matter. Spyder either way. Girls would want to be in it, so hey.
IDK, could be either ....FL., Ariz., or SoCali. At ~ $25-$30K, that Fiat will be fun. There is just something about a little manual Lotus though. As a college kid, if I had $40K to spend on a car, I'd take the Lotus over a 328i, C300, A4 or Jeep A little slow, but that car can handle, and is oh soo sexy! ....a little like Hots Wheels
Of course, it depends upon the location of the school.
C) Classy lady magnet
That is very sweet
Speaking of college chick magnets, I have always loved the Morgan Plus 4. I'm kinda digging the Plus 8 with a BMW 8zl. machine + 6 speed.

For those that think Porsche doesn't build the best sports cars on the road... You're just wrong.

There’s little that is more satisfying than having this engine wailing away at 8000 rpm, ripping a quick upshift, and climbing back up to its power peak over and over again.
Morgans and TVRs have always struck me as cool for different reasons. Gran Turismo education... Didn't mean to troll the college thing, just saw the speedster while leaving work. Lots of cool cars visit that restaurant.

This picture of a douchebag in drivers seat does this beautiful car a far greater disservice than the optional Grüner Apfel Streifen and the "stating the obvious" branding.
The 911R is almost as rare as a 993 Turbo S.
Why you wouldn't pay 6k to choose the color, is beyond me.
I have rethought my color, and would do the Orange off the 997.1 GT3 RS.
I may be old school, but I've alway felt that the cars that are destined to be classics should be the classic colors. The Germans silver, Ferraris be red, and the Brits racing green. A run of the mill, standard production model can be anything you want!
Arctic silver for Porsche.

Very similar to Rhodium Silver now.
I am a sucker for Arena Red too.
However, a 911R, the most perfect 911 to date. Guards Red would be nice, but would clash with the yellow calipers, as would Orange (but not as bad).
Maybe British Racing Green?

Signal Green, or maybe all black.
That 911R reminds me of this 997 C2.

If you're old school then you embrace or at least understand the reason for the branding on the side. It's a race car, looks don't matter just press the pedals and enjoy. I like the decals on the limited edition runs, they're race cars masquerading as luxury machines. It's kind of amusing from that angle, the leather is dispensable. The sound and feel is what you buy ;).
