2 year old rant by a commie (or at least an avowed socialist)... what was the point of that? "Because bad things happen elsewhere, we should help nowhere." Such brilliance from a dumb fucking bitch who is a huge Bernie fan and was the political editor for The Intercept, which is an incredibly biased progressive left mouthpiece.
?
it’s around the time when i first became aware of this moron.
that eye roll on kidnapped kids is the most tankie thing i had seen yet, and she only got worse from there.
“the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice.”
Benny would be posting BrieBrie night & day if he hadn't been shot by a Kadyrovite backing detachment...
Foreign policy is the litmus test of these tankie grifters, and BrieBrie spouts the Russian line, so she must be taking the Russian money.

From the article: "It almost seems as if she is a right-wing plant designed to stoke chaos..."
Almost, indeed. If it wasn't obvious before Tucker started actually doing a show on RT, it should be by now: tankies are just tankies. Identifying them with any point on the American political spectrum lends them false legitimacy and helps them sow dissent, which is the real goal.
Only when good people are willing and recognize the need to bend it.
I've recently learned that all the smart people listened to Fukuyama and others who said liberal democracy would naturally take over the world and we need not encourage it. That didn't happen and also many of our democracies are challenged.
Justin Bronk interview by Ward Carroll

Experienced Eastern block fighter pilots do not perform well in F-16s. Under pressure they revert to soviet tactics.
NATO tactics will have to be adapted for Ukraine as the threat environment is different, and NATO F16s fly as one part of a large package.
Ukraine's air defense is badly taxed, and will be under greater pressure with F16s to defend,
The delay in arming Ukraine means they are short troops. They also sent trainers to the front and are short trainers.
Ukraine's current situation is dire, Russia knows and pushes extra hard for a breakthrough.
Next year will be better for Ukraine, as western production rises and Russian production falls.
Western politicians and peoples fail to recognize the global strategic importance of the Ukraine war.
American allies and friends are closely watching. If Europe or Ukraine look abandoned, they'll not choose to stand with us vs China. If the US walks away from Ukraine, facing much weaker Russia, why should say the Philippines or Vietnam trust us if China pressures them? US power projection will become difficult in the Pacific and Indian oceans without allies, their bases, and other support.
A complete load of bullshit ^^^
So, the tactics needed for effective F-16 operations are so different from those used for Ruski planes, Ukraine is better off training fresh pilot candidates rather than retraining her veterans.
That means additional delays.
I like Bronk's assessment and accept that the above may be true.
However...
The West already screwed up once trying to impose a doctrine on Ukraine that wasn't suited for conditions. I hope that this isn't happening again.
There also ain't much talk employing foreign contract pilots, ones who might already be familiar with Western systems, operations, and tactics. That could be tremendously beneficial for this war.
Bronk's assessment of the battle space is flawed - the Karkiv Chin Check is a disaster for Poot. At least 50,000 orc casualties and mucho dead metal before it's done. Fucking dog food.

That was b4 Russia lost 2x A50 awacs in a week... Moreover, launching major ground offensives without air superiority is not US "doctrine", another huge flaw in the vid.
Which, BTW, a retired F-14 RIO is in no position to comment on Ukrainian F16 tactics. He may have flown in a few Red Flags, but Igor Sikorsky was a Ukrainian and so was Anatov - to even imply that Ukrainians are non-hackers of American fucking "doctrine" = Russian>Republican Bullshit Pipeline

Probably depends on the mission. Bronk is well informed, and likely right that it's better to train a fresh pilot if the goal is to maximize F-16 effectiveness. However, Ukraine is fighting now, and an F16 with any reasonably competent pilot is probably better than no F16. In any case that should be mostly Ukraine's call.
I read his comments as "this could have been done better." Both Ward and Justin are in the send more support, sooner camp.
Ukraine has to do whatever it takes to knock out and disrupt Russias ability to supply the front lines by hitting the oil, ammo depots, gas lines, RR, bridges, etc. inside of Russia until Ivan can't find gas for his Lada Vesta.
The same as it has always been.
I’m amazed by all the libs saying bomb and nuke Russia. That won’t end well.
Can’t we draw a new border line and let people move west during a ceasefire?
George Orwell explains in a 1944 letter why he’d go on to write 1984 for fools who think Russia is 'based' in 2024:
... there is the fact that the intellectuals are more totalitarian in outlook than the common people. On the whole the English intelligentsia have opposed Hitler, but only at the price of accepting Stalin. Most of them are perfectly ready for dictatorial methods, secret police, systematic falsification of history etc. so long as they feel that it is on ‘our’ side.
A new Boarder line? And another tomorrow? And again the day after? And .... oh, wait, there's nothing for a boarder to separate.
ON TO POLAND!!!!

So Russia can build even more torture camps on Ukrainian land?
9 June 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the day when the Russian Federation started using the IZOLYATSIA premises in Donetsk as an illegal prison, a place of torture and murder. On that day, occupiers began to try to destroy modern Ukrainian culture and active civil society to intimidate Ukrainians who seek systemic changes in society.
Russian Federation used the illegal prison in the occupied territory of the IZOLYATSIA foundation as the prototype for many illegal detention facilities, concentration and filtration camps and torture chambers. Thousands of Ukrainians went throught these horrific spaces.
