we had our annual longboardday/silly end of season event a few days ago (as in wear stupid clothes, long skinny skis, irritate the tourists). one of the guys decorated his monoski with a large plastic penis. it fell off after one run but was retrieved and carried around all day, glued to the windshield of his car later. there seemed to be quite some fascination with it, it was stuffed into various 80s style leggings and generally played with and waved around throughout the day. the guys seemed to think it was funny and i genuinely don't get it. I'm not bothered by it but I honestly don't get what the joke is. I mean i can see stuffing it into your spandex pants on dress-up day as part of the costume but sticking it on your skis or car? it just sort of baffles me and they seemed to think the mere presence of the plastic dick was already hilarious. someone want to explain why that is?
