I think I would cut the bottom of the door off at the lower trim line. Fill partial hole flush, build new bottom w matching molding, use one of those dovetail machines to reattach, sand and paint.
Get a cat. Problem solved.
Or buy a new door.

New bunk boards for a boat trailer. West Marine sells five-foot bunks for $75/pair. The lumber, carpet, staple gun, and staples for four six-foot bunks cost less than $70. I tried this with an electric staple gun the other weekend and it didn't work out. Thought an air gun may be necessary but the Arrow T50 and some good staples came through.

New bunks for mine a couple months ago. I used galvanized roofing nails instead of staples. Did you use SS staples? Also why didn't you use treated wood?

Nice work. Yeah, stainless staples. Arrow sells monel staples that are even better but they are twice as expensive and were not in stock. The boards are treated. They just had a few weeks to dry out so aren't as green.Quote:

Can anyone lend some advice on laying a foundation for a shed I am building. Never done anything like this before, but need a place to keep the dead hookers that are piling up. I am building it on a concrete slab. I didn't lay it specifically for this, its preexisting and its not quite level. Am I building some sort of sill plate and then shims on top? What do people think of split drive nails for the anchors? Basically need to figure out how to get this project started on an uneven concrete slab.
