Anyone here have contact info for the property owner of Timber Ridge?
I think this is it? --

That should be it. Tim Waker is the owner.
Spent a good part of the weekend with DoWork and his ripping lady. Always a great time even though it was nothing but mellow.
Time to start thinking about putting in some sweat equity to reap the payoff when Ullr delivers. Not sure that there will even be any mountain-sanctioned work/volunteer days this year with the uncertainty surrounding ownership and operations this year so we may have to take matters into our own hands. I'm around most weekends but not all. If anybody is interested in heading up and getting a head start let me know. Bad dates (that I know of) for me are 8/22-23, Labor Day Weekend, and 9/26-27.
Oh, and Ullr-fest will be here before you know it...weekend after Columbus Day.
Hope this doesn't end up backfiring. Last night the Mrs told me that she took it upon herself to buy passes for us on Monday before the early sale ended. Apparently, me saying 'let's wait and see if we can figure out what is going on before buying passes' wasn't very clear.
Hoping for the best, but I know whose door I'll be knocking on if the hill doesn't end up opening and the passes aren't refunded. Based on MNIAW's speculation, and a couple of other people I know looking to rent out their places for the season, my level of confidence isn't very high. I'm actually wondering if I should call the CC company and kill the charges for the passes.
Yikes! South Londonderry fade away. No Bueno.
What the hell is going on over there?
See if Tim Waker wants to buy it, turn it into a throttle twisting, playground and whatnot. Maybe he will let you guys ski, like twice a week.
Call it!
I wouldn't stress it. You'll be fine and THE HILL IS OPENING.
Personally I am really excited. I can't say for sure where the deal stands atm as far as "changing hands" in terms of completeness and whatnot but I have been talking to and working with a lot of people who are doing at lot of planning for when it does. You guys will be really pleased to see the changes in patrol, ski school, lifts and a few other things too. Also the work days shouldn't be a problem. I've got that covered... Just been dragging my feet a little as things have been crazy on the homefront lately. My apologies on that. I'll try to handle that this week.
DOOD thanks for the KILLER bag of brews and the amazing hospitality. Headies, Chasing Rabbits, Tributes, Deviant Dale's... I am going to be in trouble when they run out! I'll have to get some Treehouse beers for the next time I'm up there for sure. You rock, man.
^^^Still planning a work day this Saturday?
Might make it up for that. Camped last week at Killington and will be at Mansfield in 2 weeks so was going to stay close to home this weekend. Some magic shenanigans could qualify...
^^^oh snap! Don't forget to ask kokomas for some gandhi bot while you are at it.
