Love seeing the white stuff up high today...
What a cool year...today hiked among wildflowers (which still look great and not whilted), trees starting to turn and white peaks. FKNA
Sposed to get some more up high tonight!
Was a sight coming east over VP into Frisco seeing Grays and Torreys coated in white. Trees in Eagle county seem to have a jump in transition compared to Summit.

I'm hoping for an Indian summer then a full on switch to winter right around mid November. Read something today suggesting I might get my wish.
I want 2 months of highs in the 50s and 60s. Done with anything warmer than that
Ya that would be nice. It seems like we've had a pretty cool summer here but I'd like to get a few more good hikes in with the baby girl before cold really sets in. Love fall in the mountains!
Looks like our first real dose of cold autumn weather will be moving in this week.
Higher elevations will almost certainly see a little bit of snow
This first big cold front is an east of the divide cold front. Looks like the city could see some flurries on Thursday night.

Awesome weekend weather-wise. I did a quick hike up to Cathedral lake yesterday before the Broncos game and it is full on fall color explosion up high.
Hikes Castle Peak today....lots of color on surrounding mountains
Awesome day in the alpine. Getting close to peak colors around here.
