^When I was at breck I skiied the lake chutes... how do the two compare?
Lake Chutes are steeper
Starting to snow in Crested Butte. Kind of looks like a little dust came in last night.
Sooo there's a foot or more in the forecast for most areas, does anyone care? Anyone?
^ Season's over. It got too warm and they all went to Fruita.
Does it look like this storm totals will be that high on the divide, ie. Loveland/A Basin? Will I70 stay open for once? :cussing:
Does look like dust could be an issue
Saturday looks dry, so 70 should be good to go.
Seems like the first good sized storm in a while that hasn’t hit on a weekend.
Lil flurries this am at Snowmass around 8:15, then off and on squalls all day at the Milk. Fatties coming down right now at the Highlands.
Yes, I got around today.
Looking to head up Fri AM, not Sat. Hoping I70 isn't a typical shitshow
Heading up on Thursday and Friday, likely to BC or Vail. Hit me up if you see me. I'm easy to spot because I'll be wearing all the TGR maggot accepted gear: uber-long, uber-fat, uber-stiff, uber-indy skis, DIN 20 bindings, Flylow gear, and 10 GoPros to document all my gnarness.
just a heads up that both Thurs and Fri CDOT plans complete closures at times of 70 @ Twin tunnels.
Started snowing in Dillon about an hour ago. It is dumping out there now. Hopefully it keeps up.
Holy wind batman.
Vail pass shut down which is ruining my planned drive to aspen.
Sent from my HTC One mini using TGR Forums
It snowed hard down here for about 30 min then stopped. A wreck WB in Dowd too
14" so far, still snowing hard... that'll work.
yesss spring pow!
Today should be great. Going to head to highlands for 'lunch'
Great snow at Snowmass and I didn't make it above 10k ft yet. A Utah layer about 5" below the surface.
Nice morn at the Beav
Any obs from A Basin? Was it soft or powder on crust?
