Anyways I have two pairs of 110s, one with three mounts and one that is unmounted, if that is any testament to how much I love those skis for PNW snow. The three mounts on mine are the OG demo binding mount, a mount for Pivots on the line, and my remount at +1 for Marker Duke PTs because I henceforth proclaimed that these would be my one-ski-quiver travel skis that could serve inbounds and lift accessed backcountry or roadside touring all in the same.
Driveable on the line but still extremely loose, decent on firm snow for the size, very good on softening snow where only the top surface is soft, amazing in high density soft PNW not-too-deep or not-too-cake-battery conditions, and planky in cold smoke blower. Very fast to pivot and more fun in the air at +1, with a slight loss of suspension performance in variable snow.
I felt that the OG108s were unforgiving at 177cm for my 140 lbs frame but the 182cm 110s are not too much for me to handle, actually just right. (And now I’m struggling on 182 veneer Billy Goats but that is a separate issue). Enjoy!
