Honestly, just like the skiing in that area it's just not that crowded there. We saw 7 people the entire day, 2 at 4:30am shortly after leaving the trailhead, 2 more before sun up and 3 more shorly before we hit the top of Maroon Peak. After that, we had both summits and the traverse all to ourselves and didn't see another soul until about a mile before hitting Maroon Lake.
