It depends. On my Forbidden the front DU bushing really doesn't move that much, the rear bushing has a pretty big range of motion. Switching to bearings there made a big difference.
If your shock bushings rotate a lot it is worth trying, if they don't I'd probably skip it.
^^makes sense. Thx mang

Following up - finally found a bottle cage that has good positioning adjustability. Zefal Pulse S2</p>
Im petty sure its ALL made overseas I have aluminium cages I got from MEC and they were like 3 $ each pretty low tech but they work fine
I don't care where they're made. Looks like you cannot buy locally in the US.
And do you have issues with the Vala fitting a full size bottle?
I need to send my rear shock to fox, heard the turnaround can be as long as 2 months. How do you store the bike without a rear shock?
I've heard that I should remove the rear wheel before removing but that I don't need to release all the air pressure in the shock??? (Still will probably do so)
Can anyone walk me through the process?

Fox got my coil shock back to me in two weeks. I just left the shock out of the bike until I got it back.
On my old Hightower I cut a piece of wood and drilled a couple holes and made a faux shock. I don't even remember why I did that.

Science.
I just use a cheap 3$ cage form when MEC.ca was a coop and I like the camelback bottles, the top rubs a bit going in but it fits OK and one bottle is enough for my app cuz not using much water on an Eeb
I have a large water badder in my dakine pack but I took it out to carry a Silky Big Boy 7/24 for cutting out blow down
Re: Vala & full sized bottles. I had a nice reply written up but these shittastic forums ate it. I can fit a 24oz Podium on my medium Vala in the lower mount position with a Reserve cage, & a 21oz Podium using the Bosch clip-on bottle cage with the range extender mounted in the upper position.
