The interesting thing about placebos is that they work even if you tell the person it's a placebo. OTOH they work better for some things than for others. I doubt a placebo will stop Covid but certainly could cause a vaccine reaction. When they report out side effects of drugs they report the side effects in the drug group and controls and note which side effects are statistically more common in the drug group and which are similar in both groups.Quote:

Also mask mandate ends at midnight. Get here! Super Bowl Sunday is going to go off. The British variant and chicken wings served up on a platter. Not sure why everyone isn't en route.

As I mentioned before I assisted a neighbor with getting signed up and jabbed. Our community is actively asking neighbors to help neighbors - you can do it too. You know what they say... "we're all in this together." The sooner we get everyone jabbed the better for all of us.

My Dad got his today, in Chile [emoji1071]. He lives about 2 hrs south of Santiago.
So basically, if that is the third world, what does that make us?
I did get an email from my county. Receipt from 3 weeks ago when I signed up as an at risk person.
