Anyone want to skin up tomorrow?
Employee day tomorrow ... not sure if skinning will be permitted or not
They reported about 14" for employee day. It's only PK spinning for 3 hours, so it's not quite as epic as it sounds, but this year's was good. For the record, I'm pretty sure people were skinning to other parts of the hill.

Matt Clayton and myself got up to the hill at 1ish on Tuesday for a few turns before the party. We were able to get two shots out of the low battery in my camera. Here they are. Thanks again to Bridger Bowl for being SIICK.

Hey man, I always meant to offer to buy you a beer or something after our little pissing contest in cuckoos. Glad to see you're having a good spring. I'll keep an eye out for your stand out like a sore thumb jacket next year, and maybe we can make some turns.
Hmm, 6pm and I'm allready drunk, maybe thatrs a bad thing. At least I can still type.
Finally got a chance to get out and make some turns.

First reported avy of the season- the Ribbon on Elephant Head.
Now let's hope it starts dumping and we can start making some good turns. Hope the Frequent Skier card pays off this early season!
Here are a few pictures from Thanksgiving day.

My dog looks like he's trying to snake your first tracks. Pretty damn good skiing for my first Bridger turns of the year. Hopefully tonight's little storm materializes. Another foot would make a big difference right now. Lots of rocks hiding just below the surface out there.

looking forward to it
Anyone want to dawn patrol sunday morning?
Depending on what the temperatures are like, I could be down. Dawn patrol the past couple morning would have sucked balls.
Tenex198 actually pm'd me a bit ago about making some turns this weekend, probably saturday, I'd imagine there'd be a good possibility we'd be heading up to bridger.
did you have any idea where you wanted to ski? I haven't been up there in a while. feel free to send a pm if you don't want to post your stash in the open.
Thinking about taking the sleds out this weekend for some exploring. Any of you locals riding sleds and maybe up for some future Cooke skiing??
It never fails, there's always good snow whenver the avalanche center has a class. Looks like I'll be poking around digging snow pits on saturday, but I'm going to try to make it out somewhere sunday depending on what this storm (snow and homework) does.
Leroy, I didn't have a location in mind. I'm going to be fairly time dependant as I have to be at work at 11:30.
I wasn't thinking anything too crazy. I'll probably have at least 1 dog with me
Lars, have those 192s skied you yet?
going up saturday for avy class, then probably some bootbacking (:nonono2:) on sunday
Best November turns of my life for certain. Even after we broke trail all the way up, I was still pretty shocked at how deep it skied. My dog nearly drown a time or two, and he's a full grown lab. When we started out early this morning we were only expecting 12-18 inches. I think I might have left the pup at home if I had known we'd be balls deep. Today was badass!
I reaaallllllyyyy wish I could get out sooner, but I'm going to have to wait until sunday to ski. I think I can handle it though; with this kind of snow in november I can't really complain!
