Good eye on the location. Had to restart each run a bit below the normal entrance as we were ripping wind loaded pockets out with ski cuts on each upper convexity. This is not exactly what you're looking to see dropping into a technical line. Attachment 446777
Loved the light weight of the c132s on the long sidestep/traverse. Still getting them dialed in but they're working well for me so far. If your BSL is ~305-315 you're welcome to give my pair a spin.
Nice vid! That looks really filled in.
Finally clocking air miles with mine. (Thx 2Funky for the [emoji328]). These things are STOMP machines. So damn stable.
Fkna what a day!!

Nice Lyft-off

SkiLyft and others plus my own curiosity has drawn me in. Joining the tribe- just snagged perhaps the last 190 C132’s of the year from Marshal…..
Mounting with Plum oazo and getting pink skins on the way to join Norseman and Lord Thomas hiking these things around the PNW. Exciting!

Riff is the last big winner on the 190 sweepstakes this run!
3 pair of 200’s remain for spring AK season.
Sweet, riff!
Looking to finally get out on mine in the next few days
You're down in Sogndal, right?
Snow's not here yet, so if you pay shipping back and forth, you could take mine for a spin.

Praise jeebus! My wallet really couldn't accomodate the purchase right now - perhaps 2023/24 will be the magic time?
Thanks for the kind offer Arild - veery much appreciated. I must respectfully pass on the opportunity though - I am not overly fond of borrowing gear. I hate the chance of fucking up stuff that is not mine and potentially having to replace it, so I rather buy stuff and resell it if it doesn't work out than borrow/demo. But again, much much appreciated :)
Oh the kool-aid is so so good

Is the FR132 done or will there be more? (Aka should I buy the last one lol)
You're even worse than me!

Maiden voyage on the 190 c132s was a huge success. Great skis, super intuitive, no weird behavior. Light for the size and skinned 5500ft of pow like magic carpet.
Stable when opening up, nimble in the sun-schmood tight trees.
I mounted at -10.5cm and am happy there.
I humbly offer this crappy vid. First time taking the headcam out in a few years...
^^ nice stoke @norseperson

That looks like something I’d enjoy! Norse- you, me and Lord Thomas should line up a PNW C132 summit someday…

That'd be fun, riff. We'd be sandbagged hard, I have the feelin.
Please excuse the tame skiing in that lil vid up there... we were wigged out by the windloading in the chutes until seeing that they had already slid. Two inches of fresh on the bedsurface enforced a speed limit till apron spit.
Stoked to get back on the fatties asap
Deleted. I was asking about how this ski compares to a Ren, but I think I can imagine.
…
You know what surprised me on my c132… their ability to squash chunder and chop inbounds.
Second half of the day skiing some 3D soft bump runs. Was launching of a bump and smashing the tops of other bumps and sliding into the trough.
Wasn’t expecting that from a carbon ski.

Slight delay on getting mounted, jig got borrowed out. Biggest drop I ever landed was on the Protests so I wanted that much tail. The Lotus always felt like it needed to be longer and washed out on drops for me. So I went 200cm and -10.5 for those reasons.
Figured you all would appreciate relative forward and aft lengths. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ca21be6541.jpg
All mounted for 336mm BSL
-196cm Protests at ? I’ll check, but recommended point. For sale…
-200cm c132 at -10.5
-192cm 138 lotus at -2cm. Retired, trashed.
-190cm Bibby at -2 (I think. Could be -1).
-184cm wildcat 101 at 0
-189cm Seth’s at ? I’ll check but I think +1 or 2 on k2 scale. Retired, trashed.

Anyone else have thoughts on mount for these? I have spoons on the line and spats on the line (which I think are much further forward). Generally a directional skier but want to make sure these have the quickness and ability to drift that the original spats had. Plan is to go -11.5 per Marshal’s input without other perspectives.

I’m on a 200 at -9.5.
It skis super balanced there, I’m a more modern skiier so take that with a grain of salt. I think there is a large sweet spot on these bad boys .

I'm just going to come out and say it
I really fucked up by not getting a pair of these when I had the chance
Go ski some pow for me, mags. Fuck. And don't be an idiot like I am.

You can borrow my pair any time (storms look to be rolling in again). Just text me!
I’m on la sportiva skorpius boots (moderate forward lean) with Oazo bindings, touring only. 190 length. 5’10”, 185. Thinking -10.5 or -10….thoughts? I definitely want the pivoting/nimble feel, probably not driving tips too hard with the light boots.

With little-ish boots and your size/use, I’d say go -10
Perfect thanks!
