I’ve been watching more cartoons the last few months then I have in years... trying to fill in the gaps of my Star Wars knowledge. The Clone Wars and Rebels turned out to be pretty entertaining. Now I’m actually looking forward to them bringing that character into the show. There is a debate going on amongst the real fans about whether they want Rosario Dawson or the original voice actor to play her.

That’s funny about Rosario. I haven’t been paying attention to the fandom world except for what my 14yo tells me. My family is also enjoy the new episodes of the clone wars. We just finished rebels.

I'm late to the bandwagon, but I'll have to watch all upcoming seasons.

My guess is that Yoda's species may have some sort of asexual reproduction capability. That way if there is only one, they can still produce offspring. Maybe by laying some sort of egg that gestates for 100 years before hatching.
In the end that offspring would essentially be a clone as no mixing of DNA is involved.
So if Yoda laid an egg 145 years before he died and hid it with someone, this could indeed be Yoda's baby and clone at the same time.

They’re doing a “making of” type interview/behind the scenes episodes on Disney plus now. Pretty interesting so far. After all these years, this series has drawn me into the geeky fandom side of Star Wars more then any of the movies ever did. I can’t wait for season 2 now

Watch each on release day and follow up watch before watching the new one the next week. One of the few times my kids will all gather to watch something together.

I was gonna say sheriff Bullock. That was a fun episode. I guess I’m spoiled by being able to stream whole seasons of a show in a weekend. Waiting on weekly episodes is so hard

We are stoked to wait each week. This is the first time in my son’s life that he and his friends are looking forward to a show each week. Look forward to over hearing their Weekend discussion of the episodes. Binge watching is so common, nice to go back to waiting a week and looking forward to something over the span of a few months. This is the way.

Probably a bit due to Jon Favreau directing this one, but lots of flashbacks to earlier movies. Amy Sedaris is great.

Great first episode for season 2! Love watching this with my kids... it brings back the nostalgia far more than those other Star Wars movies in recent years.

It was a hard choice but I just finished Justified as a Covid binge watch so it's fresh in my mind.

Was kind of hoping for some Bullock/Givens/agent 47 bad-assery, but in retrospect that wouldn't have fit the narrative.

That was a good start to the season! Talking in the sand people language would give me a sore throat. :)

I think Timmy's actually lost his raging furnace stare, hard to keep when you're old, wrinkly and grizzled. Should have named the episode "The Old Marshal".

That was Boba Fett at the end right? Isn’t that his armor that the Marshall is wearing ?

Since it’s out there now... yes and yes. The credits confirm it’s the same actor who played Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones.
