Thick pow the last 2 days at brundage. Skiing grippy surfy and fun. Brundage is going to be my home mtn next season. Sweet tree skiing, over 300" and noone on the hill.
I spent a winter there. Fun mountain when it stormed. Kinda brutal when it was gray and not storming. Never got a good corn cycle the season I was there until after the lifts stopped spinning. The ridge out to Sargents was fun.
You should head down the hill and hit up The Intersection.
My favorite mtb trails close to town were the ones at Brundage too.
Thx mag
You will love McCall. I got tamarack and brundage season passes when I lived there. Sundays we would ski tamarack and then drive out to trail creek hot springs. Summers are awesome there. So much to do between hiking, boating, and fishing. Such a fun place
Just finished my Indy season with trip to Mission Ridge. I estimated $860ish in tickets for $289, I had to buy 2 RFI cards for $5 each. Not sure I'll do as well next year, but it pays for it self so easily its a no brainier.
How was your visit to Mission?

It was great. A bit of fresh. Reminded me of the old days, snow was tracked but still plenty to enjoy and untracked a short traverse out. Parking lot near full Friday morning. Nothing resembling a lift line at all.
[QUOTE=Ed el Loco;7060425] Midweek was great this past week, we skied untracked snow everyday. New snow Wednesday-Friday.

always good to be back at the beav. prob not too many 200cm OG PRE's still in the plastic out there.
Solid spring groomer cruising at brundage these days. Saw a bbi16 sticker on a slide in camper coming down the access Rd. Brundage/ McCall are my new place of residence. Overall nice little town . Quiet.
Wait until summer, quiet won’t be the word that comes to mind…
yeah I know. same as placid back east. gong show summers. but the outback in the surrounding national forests will be quiet
5" at sunlight CO overnight. Great vibe at this hill. Real place
Just bacon. Grab and go bacon at sunlight. They know what's up.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ce20dac9fe.jpg

Pleasant morning at lost trail. Great vibe there.
This may also be the year to shred the mighty couloirs of deep Creek. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2268a9a467.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...26c02d2924.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...027ee2b3ce.jpg

nice: fun mnt bike trails from LT, up to the ridge and then north to the bottom of the pass
Nice grey bird morning at Kelly canyon. Tons of local kids having fun and learning to ski. Tiny area but fun if passing by.
Sweet little hot spring on the access road.
Sunny morning upta soldier ID. Parking lot greeter and lodge attendant Alice
You gotta hit the Wrangler in Fairfield if passing by. Legit throwback place. Cheap af . https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...311c558ec2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1657e9a634.jpg

At SV now, considering Soldier tomorrow. We’ll see what the fam is willing to endure. How’s the coverage pre-storm? SV doesn’t have shit.
Soldier will be fun af w new snow. All the brush was covered and locked up. Little shots everywhere.

Indy related
This is the dude at Teton pass who's been skiing on the same skis for 50 years. Epic! Legend!
I don’t think it’s on Indy, but I hit Pebble Creek for a day last week and that place is legit - great terrain, great sidecountry, cool vibe, and lava hot springs is <30 mins away for a post ski soak. Basically one chair, but the place packs a punch!
Totally ^ I've only hit it once. Randomly trackhead and I both woke up in the lot. Sick bc on the other side I hear.
If anyone has Indy (or not) and can crawl to brundage it's absolutely off the hook. I'm here all week. Mid-week pass. Tits. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9031f2883e.jpg

I just ordered some Montana plates today with SkiIndy on them. Well worth it for a free pass. Other options still available in Montana (indypss, indypas, etc)
https://www.indyskipass.com/license-plate-club
Awesome. Although I think vanity plate in MT nare like an extra 200$ a.yeat? Can't remember. See you out there!
Plate fee $25
Plate production cost $12
Dropped the "special plate" and subsequent donation, so a breakeven for us.
Nice . No yearly fee? Picking up a new van in a couple months may get " otr skr"
No yearly that I see mentioned on the invoice. Potentially the $25 one. You should look for a similar Indy Pass plate option, I know you use it. Check the link for requirements.
Thanks lowagriz, I was not aware of the offer. I have two plates on order.
