Yup, did the drops last night and slept 9pm to 5am. That is great for me. Groggy, but likely a combo of weed hangover and getting up to early.

Where’s that picture of a big clown hammer when you need it?
So jealous of the people that get help from edibles. Unless I have an unpleasant amount I have a harder time falling asleep on them.
Please counsel with a doctor soon.
Just bumping this thread because I just woke up from a 3 hour nap and feel fantastic. I normally nap an hour like every other day but today's nap was amazing. Nice benefit of working from home while semi retired, lunch and a nap to survive the insomnia.
This. With that said it’s an open link molecule and can convert to THC depending the the person’s PH level in the intestine if orally consumed. While rare, this can lead to a “hot” drug test and could be an issue for certain professions.

Read through this thread again for suggestions as I am up to 10mg of sleepy time gummies and still awake 2-3 hours a night.
See my doc for an annual exam this week so will request some Lunesta.
Thaleia you really helped me out. The CBN oil works and now I found a nice balance with micro dosing with some Indica edibles.
Been sleeping like never before. :vax: thanks again.
There are pens that have CBN with THC as well. Nice to have if you wake up to pee and then have a puff before laying back down. If I'm feeling a little untired before bed, I'll have a 10 mg thc gummie with 10 cbd.
White noise, ear plugs and eye mask.
I heard wrg recommend magnesium powder in another thread so may check that out.
I have borderline insomnia so try to make sure I keep it in check.
I'd be fine if I didn't have to pee at night. How on earth do I solve that issue???
Right? That's where it starts. Well and taking the dogs out to pee too.
This sounds a little cheesy, but I’ve found that a super basic meditation technique works well to stop my mind from winding up and racing. Pay attention to the breath. Like REALLY focus on your breathing. Not necessarily focusing on ‘doing’ the breathing, but just noticing what’s happening. Ex: The feeling as the air moves in and out through your nose.
Those other thoughts will try and intrude, but just say, “Not tonight, brain” and bring it back to the breath.

No. Get up and piss like a big boy, but when you go back to bed focus on breathing instead of whatever dumb shit you might otherwise think about that keeps you awake.

My bad.
Would this help

Perfect, if you're girthy.
Look into Utiva Cranberry Supplement for Urinary Tract Health. It's been a game changer. Instead of getting up 4 to 6 times a night I only get up once and some nights not at all. It's for UTI but it allows you to evacuate a lot more prior to bed time. It might be worth a try.

This thread is now, officially, GOLD, Jerry. GOLD, I tell ya. :D
More like golden shower.
Well played.
I prefer to pop a benedryl to either of those
FWIW:
I went through a bout of two months of pretty severe insomnia. Got over it about a month ago.
What finally solved it was getting back on SSRI medication (specifically escitlalopram). That’s an anti-anxiety/anti-depressant, but different class/mechanism of drug than Benzos.
I now take a single Zzzquil (same drug as Benedryl) half hour before sleep, and take 50mg of Trazodone when I wake up (once) in the night.
Now sleeping better than I have in over a decade. Never an issue falling asleep, and very rarely am awake more than once in the night, and that’s almost always brief.
Went to that Hims site for some spray for my thinning hair. Took a survey for the anxiety sleep section thinking I’d get some non habit forming meds. They prescribed me Prozac!? From a questionnaire, didn’t talk to any doctor or anything. It shouldn’t be that easy.
Now I’m wondering if I accept the script and give it a try. Not sure if the side effects are worth it.
I’m still awake, anyone else?
Well, politically, that is true!

The 2:00am internal alarm clock goes off most nights. I’ve been trying to figure out how to turn it off

Try Valerian
That’s me, but 1:00 to 1:30.
Went through really bad insomnia in the summer.
Now take a Trazodone when I wake up in the night, go the the bathroom, right back in bed. Usually 15 minutes to fall asleep, no more than 30. Virtually never wake up again.
Also on an SSRI which was the biggest help, and take a Zzzquil before bed.
