We were going to do the crest this morning, but it was pretty wet and cold up there, so we bailed out and did a couple of laps of bobsled.

Who is interested in a ride up in the Logan area this Saturday? I was thinking of richard's hollow.
I'll start with a disclaimer... there is a chance I may not be able to go. Leaving wife and kid on Saturday of a holiday weekend might not work out.
Would anyone be interested in hitting Wolf Mtn. on Saturday. Never been there yet. Otter wanted to head up and take some sunrise shots on some of the berms. I figure if some of us go, we could spend the rest of the day shredding the hill. Plus, since Otter is a gimp for the summer and can't ride... we could make him cook us burgers on a hibachi grill in the parking lot while we all have fun riding.

EDIT: As for the disclaimer I started with ^^^ my wife said that since I wear the pants in the family, it was all gravy and I could go ride on saturday.
I've now come up with a new disclaimer: I just messed my knee up bad in a sport I thought wasn't a contact sport. I guess there is a reason why catchers wear all that protective padding. So, I am temperarily out of commision and waiting to find out if I've torn anything. I will not be able to ride on sat. So, for those who were interested, have fun without me... or lets do it another day. Or, maybe I can take Steve's place as the burger boy working the hibachi:(
Bump, getting to be that time of year...
Awwwwwwwwww yeah!
Hit up dry creek to bobsled the other day. Conditions are good! A trickle of water down the upper third of bobsled and that was it.
Cleaned everything on the single first ride out.:fm:
Hey, I was psyched.:the_finge
Yesterday, I was up at The National Ability Center (Round Valley). It was a running river up there. In P.C., a lot of the lower south-facing mountain trails are no longer covered with snow, and can be made out, but I don't think they'll be ready for riding for a couple of weeks.
