I cant count the amount of subluxations i had doing benign things like brushing my teeth, grabbing something from a cabinet, sleeping in the middle of the night, using a shovel that deflects off a root, etc. Its the situations where you arent consciously bracing the surrounding musculature that gets ya. Each tweak/sublux/shock adds up to arthritis. IME, it went from annoying but i was able to fully function as a super fit/strong early 30s dude, to completely unable to use the arm above shoulder height as a 35 yr old. Basically it took 20 years to go from 100%-85%, and then it took about 2 years to go from 85%-10%.
