I agree with all of this. Pretty water resistant with DWR too. Im super sweaty and these pants breath well and have good zippers.

Got out in my $70 STP Rab Exodus pants Sunday. Started warmish and turned cold and windy as a front moved in. I would put them up there with my OR Trailbreaker pants. Slightly loose in the crotch and tighter in the lower legs, vents, mini gaiters, etc. Worth checking out.
Haven't read through the thread, but the Arcteryx Procline FL pant is my go to pant, super breathable, well placed pockets and side zips. Nice fit, not super tight, lightweight suspenders, and expandable cuff that will fit lower profile skimo boots, or something a little beefier.
I would buy those Trailbreakers from you.
I have BD Sharper End pants right now. Very good touring pants too with the same attributes I need. Big cargo pockets for radios and maps. Big vents. Relatively waterproof. Integrated belt. But I do love my Trailbreakers
