Loved it. I think the reason he's more active in the air is because he's skiing entire lines rather than the take off/landing you usually see in other clips. I get kinda tired of seeing the sucked up legs/hands by your feet style anyway.

maybe its been said before but part of the reason why i love those clips of candide so much is that he is skiing the kind of shortish lines and terrain that the majority of skiers here are familiar with. 1000 metre no turn heliski runs in haines alaska don't have anything to do with my experience when i visit the mountains. its all pretty impressive but so so is riding rockets but neither say anything about my life on the slopea

I'm more shocked at Blurred's thread-count / defensiveness than the vid... I knew Candide was going to deliver content worthy of discussion. But blurred, most people kinda give up and quit after 100 or so interweb bs dick-waving contests.

I liked it. Less line-up-and-drop and more skiing, with lots of incredible drops anyway.

Here's something really out there... although in a whole different league, it reminded me of Drew Tabke's FWT run on the Tram Face recently - which stuck out to me when I saw it at the time. Skiing the exposure, in addition to lining up then hucking the exposure.

My guess is that the punter dvd audiences out there are starting to enjoy more top to bottom short line shredding with hucks, rather than sequences of one hits with no terrain context. Of course, respect to any athlete that can do any of it. Who the fuck am I to judge?

Actually, everyday I wake up, I have to pinch myself. My life is blessed....don't know why, but I'm very lucky.

However, being called a "looser" by someone who doesn't know the difference between the usage of "weather" or "whether" is really damaging to my massive ego. And I'm pretty sure you'd have to "meet me in real life" to make that statement as well.

He hit up a few lines where I could not believe it was him skiing. He skied serious lines at high speed.

I would have agreed with you before Believe, but Tanner has really taken a step up with his last two films.

That being said, I was really impressed with this video. Candide absolutely kills it. The one thing I have yet to see him do is kill a big line in AK. He did not look all that great in Anomaly. I did not see him ski any lines that made me say wtf.
