Not sure how I missed this. Who am I kidding, of course I'll watch it. I'll just have something to compare it to when I'm glued to the new show with the other 3.

I fear they are trying to copy the old version, which won't end well. But I do seem to like Joey Tribiani in the brief clips so far, which is odd.
I continue to think the early suggestion of Gear Knobs continues to be the best suggested thus far. Too bad it was rejected.
Best one I saw on Jalopnik comments was:
GEOFF.
Damn near fell out of my chair laughing. Probably more than I should but the thought of them, and that episode, and that shitbox, and naming their new show after it... priceless.
Joey from friends as Hammond and a race with a >____________< fill in the blanks.
Meh.
Yeah I thought the same when I saw the clip yesterday.
I've grown to like Matt LeBlanc from watching Episodes, but this just seems like a straight up rip off.
tonight on history channel!

I thought TGUS was cancelled. Weird.
The only thing that would make the dialogue between those three interesting in this Cuba episode would be if Captain Ron sat in as a guest host.

Aging gracefully.
Jeebus! I'm only a pair of years junior to Monsieur Clarkson, but looking at that sad sack of shite, I certainly wouldn't feel sackless behind the wheel of a Fiat cinquecento
While yes, I judged his physique harshly, I'm no Clarkson hater! There are plenty of his own fellow island monkeys that judge him far far harsher! As far as a public persona goes, I fear I'd have more in common with Captian Slow and the Hampster! As for British exports, I'll never give up my Musto oilskins!
So many presenters were hired that they can't fit them into an hour...... get the black guy that no one had ever heard of to do something for youtubeQuote:
The new series of Top Gear is nearly here. And with it comes a new spin-off show, Extra Gear, which will bring lots of behind-the scenes content to your screen for the first time.
Filmed each week at the Top Gear studio immediately after the main show, and presented by TGTV’s Rory Reid, Extra Gear will bring you half an hour of exclusive new footage, interviews, and specially recorded films.
Extra Gear will be broadcast on BBC Three - via the live page or BBC iPlayer - right after Top Gear has aired on BBC Two.
Over to Rory: “The Top Gear fans are some of the keenest in the world and with this show I’m giving them a chance to really get a peek behind the curtain.
“I’m looking forward to showing them how the show is made and what goes on behind the scenes, giving viewers a different perspective on some of the coolest cars on the planet.”
Overseas viewers, fear not: you’ll be able to watch Extra Gear alongside the new series of TG on BBC America and BBC Brit. Check local listings for details.
Awesome.
"Gear Knobs" is the clear winner so far.
The Grand Tour....eh I guess.
Yeah just read that too. Sorta sad trombone after all the naming hype.
GEOFF would've been a better name.
