Another mag already hooked me up with an undrilled custom pair. Gonna be here tomorrow. Current build with 2014 topsheet.

Team ON3P sent me a pretty awesome email when I asked about the new Woodsman 108, hope Scott doesn't mind I share on here:
"
Mounts for the Woodsman shape will scale with sizing, and are marked by the notch on left sidewall (not topsheet) of both skis - full range for '24 looks like:
191cm at -8.75
186cm at -8.5
181cm at -8.25
176cm at -8
171cm at -7.75
For updates, we chopped 1.5cm of tail length, alongside a bit more gradual rocker rise. Tip / tail height remained largely identical, so improved edge hold was overall reasoning behind many updates for 2024; we're referring to it as "tip engagement zone," and this update was across both our signature freestyle and freeride rocker silhouettes - intent was for a bit more grip up front, while also being quicker to roll over.
In terms of changed over time, here is that summary.
20 to 21 - Back 0.5cm
21 to 22 - Back 0.75cm
22 to 24 - Back 0.25cm (so -1.5cm in terms of EE since the first year)
One note - that because we trimmed the tailspacer length, the listed mount moved back - technically - a full cm year over year. But 0.75cm of that was just the loss of 1.5cm of tail length, so the actual change within the sidecut of the ski (and what you would feel) was 0.25cm.

Got the Goats in hand today. A 186 cm measures exactly 186, making them significantly longer than the 184 Wildcats they are replacing. Hoping I'm not biting off more than I can chew.
Yeah, a 186 Goat is much closer to a 190 Wild Cat.
After several years of searching, finally scored some once-drilled, fairly minty 2014 186s on here. These obliterate chop, they are heavy (2450g), but ski light, and are pivot/surf machines. Incredible ski.
The one surprise was the adjustment period to stance. They require a bit more neutral stance compared to other BG's I've skied (184 Asyms and last years 187). I am on the line which I measured at -8cm so more forward than recent goats. Anyone ski this ski mounted slightly back?
They also have significantly more tail rocker/splay than current goats. Splay is actually comparable to Jeffreys. The ski encourages a more playful approach than the other BGs I have skied/ski but still absolutely trucks. Pretty stoked to finally have this ski in the rotation.
I doubt you are. In soft snow the BG is pretty easy to and the best pow ski I have ever own. After you get some time on it let us know how the current gen skis. I love my asym BG.

This is the magic some of us love about that vintage. Definitely the most playful of the past decade. Agree that they warrant a more neutral stance compared to the newer 187 and Asym 189, as I feel the 2014's have a slightly softer tail and are the loosest skiing of all the Goats. Makes them rock in PNW mank, tight space, and trees. When I switch over to my 189 Asym's I have to adjust slightly and not be as lazy about the rear end of the ski. Finally, the 2014 vintage is just passable on groomers and firmer conditions, where the Asym and forward are much more capable in firm conditions, IMO.
For a Seattle-based skier perspective, I feel like the feel and demeanor of the 2014 vintage BG works really well for Stevens and Alpy and the Asym forward work better at a bigger mountain like Crystal where they have space to fun and that stiffer tail is more of a benefit.
Picked up a pair of BG Tours I don't need. Thanks assholes.
Can someone take the Woodsman 50/50 with cat camo top sheet please so I don't..
Got J118T out on snow for the first time the past couple of days. Conditions ranged from 6in of hero pow, punchy windslab, sticky mank, and some soft slushy groom. Coming with very little experience with such a progressive mount they are going to take some adjustment, but they seem very composed and in the good conditions they were quite fun. The 186 measured at a tick under 187 and right at 1900g.
Do the Wren 184 and Wren 186s share the same mold? Or, do they ride drastically different from each other in the same width?
Thanks, that is what I was looking to see. I picked up an older 184 Wren 108 for this season and find it's a much less demanding ski than I was expecting. Great for tight technical riding, but I'm considering moving up to a 186 Wren 110 Pro or looking for a 189 Wren 108. Thanks
