Cross post from Skitalk:
"Not technically rumors, but some fun skis available for pre-order out of Marshal's Heritage Lab Skis operation.

120 Swallowtail, 193, 186 and 180 lengths, available in reverse camber and low slung rocker for the Freeride builds, and the BC rocker profile in the carbon build. Marshal has been talking about swallow tails and tabla rasas for as long as I've known him, and given the awesomeness that is the rest of the lineup, rest assured that these will be fun, stable but nimble and very, very fast.

R105 low slung rocker/flat/rocker freeride comp ski, available in 193, 186 and 180.
I've been skiing these alongside the regular 105s all season. They are insanely good. Mini FL113s. Marshal's marketing copy is, as usual, on top of the game:
"SOMETHING EVIL
Forget everthing and everyone. Pop in the headphones and turn up the tunes. This is the ski for destroying the mountain. This is the all-mountain Slayer.
Offered in 180cm, 186cm, and 193cm lengths
105mm underfoot for bite and charge
Featuring our long and low "R" rocker profile
We recommend keeping it simple and mounting at -12cm
Bomber UHMW sidewalls
Ultra-smooth fiberglass layup and full-width VDS Rubber
Bamboo / Poplar wood core
Delivered with shape-specific hand preparation at 1.5deg base and 2deg side edges
Developed with GFB, The R105 features our "R" rocker line with a small flat spot and long low profile, paired with a directional yet surfy tip and tail, and delivers the ski of choice for skiing in
anger."

The R110s, which could be described as humanoid FL113s with a more turn friendly sidecut, are proper all mountain, long turn carvers, with enough area underfoot to float for days. Was released in a small batch on this side of new year's, but sold out in a matter of hours. Will be available in 194, 187 and 180.

Available in "189" and "179", as a tribute to the company that made the inspirations for these skis, these aren't big floppy donkey dicks, but rather twin tipped masters of fun and float. Marshal designed these based on input from the IG account back2hellbent."

Surely I'm not the only one who sees it?

Purple haze all in my brain
g/f who daily’s a volkl one wishes the FR110 came in a 165.
Ok, as the number of HL skis I need to buy is getting a little out of hand, maybe Marshall can you clarify if there will be a 193 BC110 at some point?
I keep kind of a running list of skis I am interested in... in two seasons HL skis are like 50% of the skis on that list. Psyched to get some BC ST 120s. Have owned zero skis larger than 106mm in my touring quiver ever so I think this will do the trick for those deeper days moving forward.
^Totally.
If I hadn’t recently moved & had all the associated expenses I’d likely would have picked up a pair or two this season. Or at least that’s what I keep telling myself. Damn I could easily see owning 6 or so HL skis to fill out my resort & bc quivers. The specs are impressive.
Right now my list would be C132, C113, FL113, R110. Maybe a FL105 or R105. My wife is interested too, she skis 165’s…
Just stoked that Marshall is making skis that speak to us all. Hope to support the Lab eventually.
Yup. It started for me with the FR132 and r99 but now it’s gotten totally out of hand. FR110, FL105, C113, C90, r87 and just ordered the 120R and 105R. My wallet hurts but the skiing is damn good these days. All my other skis have been relegated to the bench for the most part. Marshal has special magic in these skis.
I sent Marshal a pair of woodgrain Volkl Sanouks last winter as a nudge to make a swallowtail. The sanouk has such a unique feeling in fresh pow but is really one dimensional. I know the DB Tabla Rasa has some influence here too. This ski is going to be rad, great in pow but will have a backbone to ski all day on a powder day.
Sent ya a pm.

I have a perfectly good pair of white wolf Renegades that I use for most winter touring days, and a pair of R3.1 F3 138 Pures that I still need to mount up for touring. Two days ago I was on my high horse extolling the virtues of a simplified quiver. I used to own 17pairs, now down to 6. "I like not having to decide, just grab and go" I said...
But...swallow tail. Now I'm trying to justify a 3rd powder shape for touring. Up to this point the graphics have not been my favorite. The R110 graphic is awesome. Dig the pink 120 graphic too.
So umm...can I order a BC120 with the trippy pink 120 FR/R graphic? "Fuck off beater we don't do customs" is a perfectly acceptable answer.
Also playing the "which Heritage Lab skis would make a good quiver for me" game right now. Currently thinking "179" HB122, 186 R105, and 185 BC105 based on talking with MO a bit. Gah! I have a pair of AM120s (last season's R120 with the 50/50 build) and they're great (really great) skis, but in my head just don't quite "fit" into my three-ski quiver, which is the number (I think) I'd like to be at.
Question: are the BC and new R rocker profiles the same? Or slightly different?
I think profiles are just a little different, iirc a touch more splay on the BC profiles than R/FL

Would 187 swallowtail r120 have enough tip float for a unplayful shin masher who really liked the pescado but found the layup too soft/light/chattery for resort skiing? Looking for something quick and fun in tight trees that doesn’t fall apart skiing back to the lift.
Yeah dude, these are absolutely the droids you are looking for.
1. Mount at -2cm for proper weighting for tip smashing Steeze but still maintaining slashy pivoty goodness
2. Based on my experience with the R110, Rail groomers harder than any 116+mm ski ever made (not joking or blowing smoke)
How about at 200lbs plus gear? Still a 187 not a 193?
I’m 225 and will be skiing the 187 as you describe. Storm days. In the woods. Low vis. Slashing turns. Etc.
I certainly own 194’s for when it’s blue, but so do you!
for what you are talking about terrain/day wise, if you wanted to bump up to the 193, I’d go with the FR. But I think the 187 R is the right call for you. Like so completely yes.
So dims on the R120ST (145-120-140) kind of look like a Lotus (120 140-120-125) (a ski in the same class that I'm familiar with) but with more tail; but a swallowtail.
Not a pintail, pretty symmetrical but a directional mount point and pretty high turn radius.
How does it ski?
