They need this, skiers in the modern age are not into dealing with shit like the high-t or subpar overpriced lodges, I’m looking at you Peruvian Lodge. That place is a dump. Time the top of the canyon catches up with the rest of the ski world. Alta has so much going for it, they have the best beginner terrain in Utah. Place is beautiful. It’s just really dated and tired looking. Goldminers should be leveled, place is so hideous looking. And it’s the worst ‘base lodge’, I’ve ever seen. It’s even worse than the K1 Lodge at Killington. That’s saying something. I’m glad they’re making changes. I was pleasantly surprised to see a huge crane up there this year. Good on the Snowpine for getting a foot up.
