I had a couple of these things and they roared. They had these Mikuni carbs that were knockoffs of the Weber 2DCOE 40s that I put bigger jets in.

I've also owned 2002s and several Alfas when they were affordable. I'd probably go for a thrasher Miata now or I like the Honda 2000 too. Cheapo Euro honkers sure seem like a way of the past. Maybe some old Fiat wedge?
