Please explain how “the majority of federal government employees get an exemption” when
- The exec branch has about 4.3 million employees and a huge number of defense contractors
- The legislative and judicial combined have about 70,000

Update on Washington's state employee mandate (the strictest in the nation, with no testing alternative): As of Sept. 20, 68% of the nearly 63,000 workers subject to the mandate are fully vaccinated. That’s up from the 49% on Sept. 6. Oct 18 is the deadline to be fully vaccinated.
Fuaci is in favor of boosters for everyone. Says we have enough vaccine for US and rest of the world (not an either or choice). Says we should not be satisfied with keeping people out of the hospital but should use boosters to keep people from getting sick.

It’s a separation of powers thing. The Legislative and Judicial branch can’t be told what to do by the executive. IE - the employees of those branches are not Biden’s employees to tell what to do, he doesn’t have the authority.
The order specifically applies to “executive branch employees”.
You can blame prison workers in Walla Walla and their abysmal 39% vaccination rate.
Half of unvaccinated workers say they’d rather quit than get a shot – but real-world data suggest few are following through

Quieter actions
But while it is easy and cost-free to tell a pollster you’ll quit your job, actually doing so when it means losing a paycheck you and your family may depend upon is another matter.
And based on a sample of companies that already have vaccine mandates in place, the actual number who do resign rather than get the vaccine is much smaller than the survey data suggest.
Houston Methodist Hospital, for example, required its 25,000 workers to get a vaccine by June 7. Before the mandate, about 15% of its employees were unvaccinated. By mid-June, that percentage had dropped to 3% and hit 2% by late July. A total of 153 workers were fired or resigned, while another 285 were granted medical or religious exemptions and 332 were allowed to defer it.
At Jewish Home Family in Rockleigh, New Jersey, only five of its 527 workers quit following its vaccine mandate. Two out of 250 workers left Westminster Village in Bloomington, Illinois, and even in deeply conservative rural Alabama, a state with one of the lowest vaccine uptake rates, Hanceville Nursing & Rehab Center lost only six of its 260 employees.
Delta Airlines didn’t mandate a shot, but in August it did subject unvaccinated workers to a US$200 per month health insurance surcharge. Yet the airline said fewer than 2% of employees have quit over the policy.
And at Indiana University Health, the 125 workers who quit are out of 35,800 total employees, or 0.3%.

We've already got an Australia COVID thread in polyass. We even have TGR mag Summer giving us boots on the ground reporting:

MTT's statement seems sub-accurate according to this but I guess anything is possible with small sample sizes (or when you make stuff up).
Link? I can’t find anything reporting those numbers.
I checked and that’s been debunked. The Doctor in the press conference said “vaccinated” when he meant “unvaccinated” and the anti vaccination folks ran with it on social media. Stay off Facebook MTT.

The Australia thing was previously discussed. The Australian Heath minister misspoke and said vaccinated when he meant to say unvaccinated. He corrected himself in the same press conference which social media snippets makes no mention of:
Jeremy McAnulty misspoke when initially detailing the vaccination status of people in hospital. Dr McAnulty later corrected the record during the same press conference, identifying that everyone in intensive care units (ICUs) in the state due to COVID-19 was unvaccinated – except for one individual who was partially vaccinated.
The slip-up led to social media users claiming that vaccines are “useless” in preventing hospitalisation.
