Hey there - been reading the forums for awhile and finally joined - mostly for the gear swap - I need some new stuff and had a kid last season so my budget is a bit cramped. basics - 45 year old life long skier who splits his life between Mammoth and LA during the winter. The last 4 years have sucked - this year is setting up nicely. 2 years ago - in a desperate bid to find powder - I did a western road trip chasing storms for a few weeks and while in Utah I made the mistake of skiing at Deer Valley (long story - old friend from east coast first time out west and he would not listen to me when I said Snowbird and Alta are all you need to try...) and my favorite boards ever got stolen. 2011 Moment Jaguar Sharks in a 184. I have come close to replacing them a few times - but after last season on my Bibby's among the rocks - and slush - I realized I vowed to replace them.

New to the forums, mainly on here for some backcountry beta and backcountry ski partners on the front range. Also have some ski gear I'd like to sell on the forums.

Looks like a cool board. Will be watching the posts and add my .02 when it means anything...

New England guy by way of Mass and now in Southern NH (what's the difference?).

Skiing about 35 years now and getting into it more than ever. Also a year round Volleyball player, even if many think it's still just a chick sport...

New to the forum. Lurkin last winter time to get serious. Ct East Coast skier.

Figured I'd say hi here and then drop into the mammoth thread. I've been in LA for 11 years now, started skiing again after a loooong hiatus 4 years ago. Hoping to meet some of you bastards on the SoCal slopes this year, and get as many days in as possible.

Guess I'll welcome myself here. I'm an East Coast skier located in Maine, and like skiing in the woods and over rocks and ice.

First post here but just wanted to let you all you Tahoe people know that the snow on Red Lake Peak/Steven's Peak is really REALLY nice powder right now. Waist deep on the wind loaded sides, Low avy danger, and the 5-20 degree temps up there have kept it dry and fluffy. Get some before it warms up :)

Hi, I'm Josh and yet another ON3P fan boy.

Former PNWer turned resident of 8x12 "cabin" nestled deep in Taos Ski Valley. I'll be posting more stoke this year, I promise. I came for dry snow and a new start after a 3 year relationship finally took a shit. Used to post on Turds-All-Year but got tired of the same people talking about how they skied the Muir snowfield / Paradise Glacier for the 478th time. Fucking rad trip report. Made a few good friends on here already and I appreciate everyone's help with gear and what not thus far.

If you known any babes age 18-42 in Taos, tell them about me.
