mtchcam that lake perspective and clloud movement/ development would have made for quite the time lapse. nice pic.
Hi.........,
Its a nice post. If you have some more you just keep on going...
Possibly because I'm an idiot! I meant film, since you mentioned it in the previous thread. From the olden days, I see film and print as synonymous in my own quiet little brain.
This thread is getting more commenty and less picturey.
Here, I think I'm an artiste' now:

Doing my part to change that....

very cool comp Lonnie, love the contrast of the shadow pattern on the bright spot.
Thanks. That one was totally about being lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.
Charleston was very hard for me to shoot. On top of dealing with the weather (humidity) that played havoc with my equipment (cold hotel room + 99% humidity = fogged lenses and sensors), I had to change my mindset very early as what I was getting looked like poo. Rapidly changed from the landscape to the macro landscape. That produced much better results. I got a few keepers but overall tho, I still think my results as a whole were meh.
Here is one that is in my "normal style" that I think came out ok. This is about it....

^^Dude, nutz. Please tell me it's NOT hdr??
FACK! That's brilliant.
Crop the ground/stump out and it'd be an AMAZING abstract too.
(hint: submit in the Abstract Challenge on NSOP)

outabounds, you want to trade prints sometime? Or sell me a print of that?
Damn. I love outabounds photo of the twisty tree. That's my favorite from you so far.
i know Lik's looks incredible on the wall, but web-wise your toning is easier on the eyes. cool shot

Thanks, everybody.
I'd be happy to trade, single. Like I said above, I'm new to getting things printed so I'm not sure how best to go about it. What sort of printing do you have done? I had a few 8x10s printed from Snapfish that I just picked up at Walgreens, but being a total jong, that may a shitty way of doing things. There are a few places around town that do higher quality work.
Yeah, pointedem, he's got a great shot. I took mine in blazing sunlight, I'll have to remember to go back on a nice cloudy day.
...uh oh, I'm fucking up the comment/picture ratio.
