Maybe like 4" but still snowing in Franconia notch so exceeding forecast. Made the call last night not to drive south and stay put.
I have some half price vouchers for Cannon and will be there today if you want them to use today. I've been there for work and pleasure just about every day and there is a solid base top to bottom with a few brown patches. Woods are filled with a styrofoam base but don't really go anymore after last weekend rain.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1aa120607c.jpg

Heavy dusting here on the northern end of the west coast of New England.
Just measured 20” in my yard in Manchester. Bromley likely not spinning lifts until noon.....

~30 inches on the west face of White Rocks National Forest
Okemo reporting 35 inches now, wow. They must have been getting 4-6 inches an hour over the last 2 hours. I'm planning on heading to Magic for tomorrow, fingers crossed for some rope drops up top. Leaving my pow skis with a friend in Jay wasn't the best move in hindisight.
Any mags at Magic tomorrow? AugustWest?
Dang diggity dang. Ludlow. Attachment 353338
Great to see all the pics from this storm, glad it tracked north and south/central VT got some goods!!
chiming in on the Jay comments from earlier, you guys are all correct - rarely is it worth it to wait for a ride on the Tram, it's always crowded and you really can get to most of the good terrain from the Freezer. I do remember when Tram/Bonnie were closed almost all year from the cables sagging, some of those days were all time since it was hard to get to certain spots on the mountain, kinda reminds me of March-May this year when we had to skin for everything after the resort shut down. And as far as Big Jay goes, if someone is planning on trekking out there anyways, there's not a whole lot of difference between taking the tram up or just hiking from the top of the Flyer, but I do hope there's less traffic out there in any case.
14 day radar shows a few more storm cycles inbound for the holidays, cheers all and keep the stoke high!
Crotched Rocket to pow dreams. Phone only comes out in car
