I have a BG 110 50/50 - compared to my BG 116T its definitely more damp. Its more plastic and edge material, and there is a good durability argument to be made for some. I did manage a big shot in a tour layup ski this year off something that wouldnt have coreshotted a standard base. The 50/50 layup feels noticeably more like the stock version vs a tour layup to me, more like a 35/65 Tour/Stock if I was just going off "feel of skiing". I'd almost say its a snowpack decision - if you will be riding lots of rocks and know how to light a ptex candle, go 50/50, its worth it on the uphill. If you dont demolish a pair of skis every season, try out a Tour version
