Already too many mid week skiers in my parking spot when I roll in at noon.
How come I can't reply to a thread on the gear swap forum? Is it because of my low number of replies (1)? Or do I need to do some form of verification?
Yes.
Its WARM AND DRY in the San Juans... where's our storms at?!?
Looks like everyone is feasting this week!
Between the lines and the traffic and the reservations at the resorts and being able to go midweek wanted to get into touring or at least try it out. The gear is crazy prohibitive pricing for something to try out and not a whole of rentals so here I am!
Btw you know what sucks? When there’s a huge snow dump when you are out of state and at work and come back to rain for a week. PNW /Crystal weather 🤷🏻♀️
nice post

Hey, new guy here. Trying to figure out how to buy stuff on the gear swap. Figured I would post in here to try and get to the post limit. I’m from the Midwest mostly but I’m able to get out west every now and then.
I’m guessing the limit is 10 posts?
Long time lurker, first time poster. Been a cook to ski bum, ski patroller— turned firefighter, freeride coach, and part time instructor just to get the family passes without having to work as hard as patrol. I’ve always enjoyed the gear chats here. Also, trying to get my post count high enough to buy/ sell.
I am a real human person. I like to ski
Would love to be able to post in gear discussion topics
How has the baker treated you? I am trying to decide between Baker or Trewth... seem more or less comparable in construction and features... thinking Trewth may be a little more baggy/snowboard oriented? One thing I can say about both trew and flylow is that they both have excellent customer service. They have gone above and beyond for me. Trew has a cool online sizing questionnaire as well.
Wont go wrong with flylow jacket, they are solid
