When age is >50, your body reacts to this type of injury differently than when you're young. I have a small chance of reinjury, but I lost range of motion and strength big time - ruined my ski season completely and thanks to a warm winter that created super icy trails, my running got kiboshed big time too.
I'm back to running 3-4 times a week - 25-40km - a far cry from the 80-90km per week prior to being injured.
And of course the owner took off with her dog and left me lying there hurt. Welcome to life in the entitlement burb - fuck anyone but yourself.
