Hah, found one of these big bastards in the propane tank box for the fire pit in LFP.
Those things can move! Scared the bejezus out of my wife. She actually jumped and ran in one motion.

Coatimundis are the Central American version of raccoons, but still cool to see in the "wild"of Tikal National Park

Are there lots of dead flies on the window sills in that house?
I've seen those in southern Arizona a few times. Came across a pack of close to 20 on Mt Lemmon one time, they all scattered except for this one and a couple babies. I'd never heard of them before, had no clue what it was til I got back to google.

"Can you find the screen split mirror?"
I never heard them called that, but probably a Wyoming term:tongue:
Apparently the correct term is coati as coatimundi is a Brazilian term for a lone coati.
And when coatis move backwards they look like brontosaurus.

^^^ bit close for comfort uh?
Probably good you didn't see it, if you're like me you'd have pulled an ill-conceived escape maneuver and ended up upside down in a tree, much closer to the bear and much less likely to successfully escape!
Chased on of these out of the house this morning.
Hummiingbird moth. First time I saw one I thought it was a real hummingbird.
