Kinda of cool concept by Schenker. Especially since Graham usually couldn't go more than 3 songs before his voice went to shit. Saw Schenker twice at out little local club. Always fun.

Saw the Revivalists last night.
Never was into them except for a few songs.
They're very very good live. Singer is over the top talented...lungs of a God.
went to see High Time Band on Sunday night @ ' Bowl. FKNA!!! they rocked. Drummer just killed it.
Saw festival with bunch of bands yesterday.
Revivalists...second time seeing them in 2 weeks. They kill it. Super talented, high energy, and great songs
Phantogram...3rd time seeing them and they get better every time. She plays the bass now which was new. Incredible energy and probably best performance of the day. I love everything about them
Death Cab...3rd time seeing them as well. I'm a big fan but I've come to the conclusion they aren't meant to be seen live. Their performances are snooze fests and all the energy the crowd had from Phantogram was immediately sucked out of it
Grouplove...everyone seemed to be there to see them. One of the most boring shows I've ever seen. I couldn't have been less into it
Lumineers...polished band but a little too vanilla for me. I should stay away from bands where more than one member is wearing suspenders.
Funny how the opening bands (Phantogram and Revivalists) were a WAY better show then the top acts
Alice in Chains last weekend in Zurich...

marcus king band this wed & friday night @ brooklyn bowl
stella blues band saturday night @ Garcia's
ready to rock !!!!
I just saw Bob Seger on his way through NY on his 'farewell' tour. The venue sucked hard but the show was pretty good when the sound wasn't completely terrible. I think he was enjoying himself but he didn't play much, maybe his hands were hurtin', he sang every word strongly and bounced around just fine. Some of the sappy bits were emotional and some of the jaunty stuff was pretty hard rockin' when he got going. I'm glad I went but I don't think I'll ever see another show at PNC Bank Arts Center in NJ.
Still on the list for this month is Peter Frampton on his last tour and Dead and Co. It's pretty cool to be able to take my kids to some of these artists before it's all over. We've brought them to everything since they were little but fell off the last few years. We're picking it back up before they're all gone.
Snarky Puppy at the 500 seat Jackson Center for the Arts was fkn amazing. So tight, creative. Bobby Sparks on keys blew the roof off, especially the whammy bar clavinet. Catch them if you can, especially if you’re in Ann Arbor or Atlanta. Attachment 284913

Marcus King Band killed Brooklyn Bowl on Wednesday night. "dear prudence" "I won't be here" & "Boone" . The whole band is fkn A!!! Jack is a beasttttttttttttttttttttttt on those drums and Dvibes gets it moving.
Going back tonight for round 2 to see them again.
Hit up a local festival yesterday after work and caught Eileen Jewell (what pipes), Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band (amazing guitarist), the Bottle Rockets, and James McMurtry. The BR’s came out to join JM for an encore.

These small events kick the shit out of the stadium shows and dress up festivals.
I've seen McMurtry twice at our local 500 seat Theater in podunk Coast of Maine. Both great shows with Stephen King in attendance (King owns a local radio station up here, free speech fight the corporate power thing). Choctaw Bingo... Can't Make it Here Anymore...

Record Company @ the Belly Up.
Really good show.
They’re playing Red Rocks tonight.
Yep, Record Company brings it Live... especially for a three piece.

Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets a month or two back. Solid show. Fired up for Brit Floyd 2night.
