DUDE, an elephant....why didn't I think about that!
^^ you forgot the shark with lazer beams for eyes...
ahhhhh lol thats some of the funnier shit ive seen on here in a while.
Single, that's awesome man :)
Forgive my ignorance, but who is that riding the elephant?
I can't believe that elephant is going to clear that gap!?
That's either a really small elephant or a really big asian.
A shot from the Big Lake today...I really would've like to have gotten myself down there about a half hour earlier because the lighting on the clouds was a lot more interesting....oh well...still pretty happy with this.

A picture of my friend's newborn... this was taken when he was about 14 hours old. Just missed the portrait cutoff by a couple days:

Hey guys, just getting a whiff of this subforum and wow am I ever impressed. Such cool shots and so much talent here!
As my first post of the photo forum, have to post some stoke... This one is for the earth's midget entourage, taken at Limerock Park memorial day weekend. Not particularly awesome quality, but a pretty cool shot nonetheless.

And although the snow is gone for the season, here's a little pic from my favorite place in the world. Photo credit to Buttahflake, I'm the skinhead hiking down. Photo from last weekend.

anddd... one more from tonight. I'd like to get a different location going on but it's a little un-nerving being in the open. Unlike the other storm, the SLC valley was getting blasted full-on tonight.

That photo is insane man, you've really really scored with that. Incredible colors, saturation etc. It's like looking straight into the mouth of Gozer ... I'd be watching for the StayPuft man coming stomping down LCC after seeing that storm.
Did you do any blending or HDR? How much shadow detail was in the RAW for the foreground? Wondering what a touch more foreground exposure would look like, but that's like asking for a tax break after winning the lottery.
Oh yeah, and you're shooting with a remote ... while standing on top of your thermarest right? ;) I'd be pissing in my pants trying to get the setup for that shot. Well freaking done man!
Wow!

From a trip to Dresden, Germany this past weekend. The weather wasn't too cooperative, but still had a great time checking out the city and the Slaughterhouse 5 area (I'm a huge Vonnegut fan). The renovation of the old city has basically taken place over the past twenty years since Germany's reunification (google Dresden firebombing - 99% of city was levelled in WW2) and there is still a lot of construction going on. They've done a great job with it, though. Will definitely go back for another visit.

Sick, is there a bridge or something there, or was this zoomed a bit from a window?
No blending or HDR. The bolts were so intense last night that I was underexposing and relying on the lightening to supply the light to create a decent exposure. I tried exposing normally and it was getting blown out. I was under by about 2 stops. There is a little bit more shadow detail, but really it's just bushes and shit, I threw that away in favor of better toning on the light.
This was shot from my porch-- no f'n way I woulda been out in the open for this. I have several other shots that are so-so.. and the size of the bolts is ridiculous... like light up your living room style.
Grabbed this yesterday morning during the brief break between storms. It's been a wet June in the valley.
