The other video is funnier.
Saw that guy Friday, I had eaten a small handful of mushrooms and thought it very amusing

One legged telemark skier?
Random chairlift thought today inspired by one legged skier I saw who was really good... But not telemark.

New skis and bindings day!
was he using poles or the skis on outrigger poles, I have seen both ?
I don't know if freeheel would work for a one legged ?
I've had experiance with a Quad on skis
I once ripped out a tele binding and had to ski 1200 vert on one leg; no way I would do that voluntarily.
Same

I enjoyed that article for the most part, except that this paragraph read like a condescending hipster word salad:

Invalidating minority sects is more consistent with populist drift, anti-elitist dogwhistles, and cultivated dumbness. Even our left-leaning, right-minded ilk got caught up in the zeitgeist.
I should probably move them forward but each time I do I regret it. I like position 3. I had an ass over tea kettle yesterday though that took me out for today. I landed on a rock. I felt rocks before I launched so I knew that might happen. Sure enough. Fortunate to have landed on some some glute padding instead of vertebrae I guess.
Hear ya. Descended 2500 feet from near the top of Snowbowl where I snapped my Toute Neige against a mogul. It took awhile but was still faster than walking. And slightly more dignified. [emoji3]
Still miss those damn skis, they ripped. (Yeah, the red ones.)
I think you mean rearward, moving forward would be position 2 then 1. 3 is good, they ski like a BD 01 or O2. I’m glad you didn’t hurt yourself worse. Lock your heel and ski for real

never blew up a tele binding
just a couple of legs/ knees which is much worse
Having to ski on one ski doesn't necessarily require blowing up a binding. Merely improperly mounting will suffice.
I pulled out a hammerhead at the top of the hill. Like three turns in. By the time I got to the bottom I had the technique pretty much figured out. I was doing a falling leaf and lost the most altitude going backwards.
Skied over a tree two days ago, we all lived:

It doesn't look like the tree lived...
And, hey, where are your leashes??? ;-)
