second, the military is really good at moving shit around and if we didn't have an ass hat for a president perhaps their risks would be less than the risks they face now

Uhhh, the shutdowns are expressly put in place in large part to protect essential workers like truck drivers, health care workers, and so on. I mean, that's the point... preventing too many people from getting sick all at once.

Taking precautions is a gift we bestow on one another as part of our civic responsibility.

I read an article a few days ago, most long-haul guys are just living in their trucks, keeping their interactions to a bare minimum and many/most have been wearing masks for a while now. Tough way to live but hopefully for their sake and ours they stay healthy.

As in everything its a combination. People don't donate 20% of their income because its for the money. The vast majority of HC workers would stop showing up if they weren't being paid, same with Truck drivers.


We're all beholden in some way. shape or form to the Almighty dollar.
