could do way worse than this. great deal really
Sledneck or 5 miles and 2K vert
Feel like this is a project not worth doing unless doing it yourself (and not paying me). This thing was not meant to be taken apart ever. All rivets. All wiring junctions/controllers wired to the cabinets. No quick connects etc. I'll be into this for 100 hours easily. Guy should just sell to someone and buy a new one. Attachment 502513

yeah huge pia. a camper place would charge the guy more than a new camper.
Yep T+M. I made good headway the last few hours of work on it. Ready to pull this old subfloor and replace. Can't believe they used chip board under there. Built in AZ. They probably barely ever thought about moisture intrusion.
Edit: Stupid phone upload photos are always sideways.

Wait, is OSB not protected from below? It looks like there is a hole I can see through to ground. Does the bottom of the fiberglass shell have a joint that should be maintained by sealant?
The hole you see is where there is a hole in the shell for a ground wire. That hole went directly up to the 12v battery box in case of leakage of the battery I guess?
I believe all the water damage is from the water storage tank leaking and some from the rain from above. The bottom of the shell is a seamless "bath tub" basically.
^^^ and as I started to remove the old subfloor I am finding that it was not just bolted but GLUED down. Yikes.

Saw this hog rolling through Eugene OR yesterday. Quite the passion project!
Minus the green highlights, looks super functional and durable with aluminum shell.
The matching curtains really tie it together
